Rooms have an older feel and has a weird smell when first walked in. After opening the window for a while the smell wasn't as noticable. If looking for a night to stay is fine. The breakfast does redeem it a little.
+ Motel is in a nice location, lots of food places near by as well as a gas station.+ Room was clean.- TV doesn't show you what the channel name is and most of the channels say unauthorized. - WiFi couldn't keep a signal and kept disconnecting us from it. - Pillows were small and some were lumpy, get bigger pillows or put another one on the bed. - Toilet leaks near the base.
The room was reasonably comfortable, but a little warm on a hot day. Check-in was rather slow both times we stayed. It is acceptable, but there are better options in Kenora.
The food is consistently very good. Great service. It's one of our regular places to eat.
We had 2 rooms between our family. Both had double beds. Both same price. The one room was very clean and had been updated with a modern shower and bedding.... Buuut ours had a 24 box of empties forgotten when cleaned last, was stuck in the 80s and had a lot of mold in the teeny tiny shower all the way up... Was really disappointed that they were the same price... The restaurant was awesome! Huge portions too. Usually I can eat a whole meal but not here.
