Went to stay there a couple of times. Once for my sons 8 birthday and for my vacation. Very clean and relaxing. Suppose you can stay at some of the fancy places but this to me was tops in Kenora and would stay there again. In fact my sons 23 birthday is coming up in august am going to rent room there for me and him to spend some time together again. And by the way was the beat vacation I ever had,
Horrifying,The fact that this place is open is a black eye for anyone responsible for building safety or lodging in Kenora.Completely infested with spiders. The corner of the room had separated structurally to the point the window was falling in. The window and gaps in the walls were filled with gobs of structural foam, but the sagging carpet and spongy floor suggests the wood underneath had completely rotted.Filthy, disgusting conditions. Literally Christmas tree air fresheners hanging in the room to try to mask the mold and funk.This is a town that lives on tourism.
This place is no longer opened years ago a family gathering place for us hate to see it in shambles hope for another motel to take its place
I wouldn't stay here again. The entire place is so structurally crooked the doors wouldn't even stay open and we felt like we were losing our balance inside our room. We opened the window and the screen fell off because it wasn't the correct size. Lots of water damage in the bathroom and lots of cracks in the ceiling. Wires dangling from the walls, blinds all broken and furniture very outdated. The stove didn't work and the outside stair case looked like it was ready to collapse. I would never stay there again and recommend for safety reasons that no one should either especially if you have kids with you. We were very disappointed.
Felt like they had bed bugs. And blood stain on my pillow. Super divey.
