Food was good so more stars for that. But come on with the beer. Not the quality of craft beer available in the market today. Hope and oats was more like water than an oatmeal stout They ran out of IPA when we were there and the waitress said that they had another keg but wouldn't hook it up. We left and went back later to find out they had hooked up the IPA, however whatever they gave us was a completely different beer. Waitress couldn't explain why other than some batches are different than others, I know my beer fairly well and that was a totally different beer than we had before. All in all a very negative experience. Unfortunately it is one of the only reasonable beer bars in the area.Updated review - went back again as I was in town on business. Much better experience, food was still good. Still not my style of beer as I like motor oil thickness in my stout and hops through the roof in my IPA, but overall more positive experience this time. Still wish all the staff had better knowledge of the beer on tap.
Everything was just...fine. Food was above average in taste and plating, and wait staff pleasant. I tried four beers (flight) across the spectrum. Just send like drinkable beer. Nothing about them was special, other then the rye and ginger beer which was different, but not for me. Our visit took way too long. Twenty minutes to get in, Thirty to order, and hour wait for food that wasn't worth the wait. Then another decent amount of time to pay. The restaurant was more than half empty by the time we were able to leave. We spent nearly 2.5hrs on a Tuesday evening. There was great patio weather which maybe that explains it, but the experience was ruined for me. Sadly, I see the wait times as a common complaint.
Awesome food, even better beer. Staff are happy and always slingin' good beer! Just don't order a Bud Light or you'll get sideways looks... and you should for wanting to drink Bud light at a brewery with beer as amazing as this place!
Fantastic atmosphere and a really great spot for delicious food and craft beers. Would definitely recommend you try it, if you're in the area. *buy some hot sauce and beers on your way out, totally worth it!!**the gravy is delicious!!!
Fun atmosphere and a nice patio. Good selection of beers. Taps probably rotate but the seven draft beers we tried were all quite good, though they all seemed kind of "safe": nothing was overly hoppy, dark or heavy/full-bodied (could be that it's summer!). Great location right on Highway 17 as it comes through town and walking distance from the Clarion Inn.
